General Transcription Transcriber

Job Description:

Looking for entry-level and/or experienced transcribers to help with transcription project. The project entails transcribing answers to survey questions for a study to improve AI as it relates to the African American Vernacular/Dialect. Survey answers transcription is strict verbatim. Our goal is to get through 1200 audio hours of transcription. The project will go through November, December and possibly into January. Starting pay is $1.35 per audio minute with opportunity for continuation and raises once this project is completed.

Job Requirements:

Individuals should have successfully completed a transcription course and/or have adequate transcription experience and should have a transcription audio software player as well as a foot pedal if necessary. Transcribers available to transcribe 3-4 audio hours or more per week preferred, but not required. Must be U.S. based. Please send resume to lpgiles@transcriptionetc.com with your availability.
