Job Description:
Approximately 25 note takers are needed for May 13th, May 14, May 15th and May 16, 2024. The notetaking will take place in real time via a 2 to 3-hour Zoom meeting. The notes would be for a discussion taking place between grant application reviewers, discussing criteria that were used to score grant applicants and working through any discrepancies, differences and/or conflicts with application scoring among the reviewers.
Each notetaker will have a 3-hour or 4-hour panel each day. The hours for the panels will be 12:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. as well as panels from 12:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The panels will take place concurrently, which is why approximately 25 notetakers are needed each day. You would be required to join the meeting 30 minutes prior to the session (11:30) and will be allotted 30 minutes following the session for any clean up/wrap of notes. The sessions will not and cannot be recorded and the notetaker will be responsible for capturing what can be captured during the meeting in real time. A template will be provided on SharePoint with instructions for updating notes.
The pay for this assignment is $25 per hour. i.e. 3.5-hour sessions would be paid for 4.5 hours to accommodate 30 minutes prior and after. And 4.5-hour session would be paid for 5.5 hours to accommodate 30 minutes prior and after. Notetaker that can be available for all four days are preferred, but not a requirement. The extra hour pay is also to incorporate time for the pre meeting requirement below.
A Zoom pre-meeting is scheduled for May 9th 11:00-11:30 a.m. EST for explaining the assignment in more detail, making sure everyone can access the forms and to answer any additional questions notetakers may have.
