Alaina Cillis

I am thrilled to be a recent graduate of Transcribe Anywhere’s General Transcription: Theory & Practice course. Transcription is an art form in which a passion for language, a love of precision, and qualities such as curiosity and empathy combine to accurately capture the spoken word on paper. I have always loved the English language and relish the challenge of creating grammatically correct and properly formatted transcripts. At the same time, I have always wanted to make a difference in the world, and the flexibility of transcription work allows me more free time to pursue volunteer work in the field of education. However, I feel that transcription itself is also a beautiful way to make the world a better place, and I look forward to collaborating with a variety of organizations and individuals as they work toward their mission goals. Although I do not yet have work experience in this field, I am excited to see where this career path leads me. I look forward to doing business with you and becoming part of your story.
